Sprawl out on one of our many manicured lawn areas, enjoy the tranquility of the large water fountain set in the middle of the lighted Topiary Tree Orchard, tie the knot under our regal 17’ tall Old European garden arbor, gather around our smokeless firepits well into the night under the bistro lighting of our Tuscan Courtyard Garden, or just take in the many scents and colors of our vast array of flora. Your garden experience at Slate & Cypress is a delightful immersion in the natural beauty of nature, and one that you will take with you in precious memory and in feeling long after you've returned home. It is a feeling that surrounds you and your guests, from the very moment you step onto our property to the moment we bid you a farewell. Our Restored 100-year-old Heritage Tobacco House Bar & Dining Patio

Come enjoy our beautifully restored and historical piece of southern industry, as you entertain your guests at our truly one-of-a-kind bar and dining patio! Rich history lives in the beautifully hand-cut cedar structure that frames the House. You can almost smell the aged tobacco leaves hanging inside the House, where they were once draped so meticulously against the warm humid air and wrung out to dry over each and every tobacco stick. Careful consideration has gone into preserving the original structure, as new, meticulously sourced, hand-cut timber now dresses the restored exterior of this magnificent structure. Our desire to revive this timepiece, so that every guest may walk amongst the posts and beams and imagine what it must have been like to be a part of that by-gone age.

At over 3500 s.f., this multi-faceted outdoor covered event area is highly appointed with polished concrete floors, bistro lighting, 60” ceiling fans, bar-height bistro tables and stools, event cocktail tables, custom two-tier white concrete counter mobile bar, and a 360-degree crystal clear sound system.

Enjoy music, cocktails and appetizers! Especially gorgeous at night, our custom bar and dining patio glows softly at night with warm Edison bulb lighting and brass carriage lanterns from under its main roof. Our towering timber-frame breezeway will keep you covered while you move between Venue Hall and Tobacco House.
